A selection of recent lock, gate, safe, intercom, access control and security camera projects completed by Metro Local Locksmith across New York City.
A full access control setup on an aluminum and glass storefront entry in the Bronx. A backlit keypad on the door frame lets staff in with a code, an electric strike in the stile releases the latch, and a maglock on the header holds the door, with an armored door loop protecting the cable every time the door swings. Inside, a push-paddle exit device and a push-to-exit button keep the way out simple. Call (646) 450-6320.

On a commercial glass entrance in Hartsdale, the old keypad was replaced with a new backlit keypad and the existing maglock system was rewired as a hard-wired setup for a steadier, more reliable connection. A push-to-exit button inside the door lets anyone leave with one press.

A worn lock on a narrow black metal door was replaced with a new narrow-style European mortise lockset, matched to the existing case size, backset and faceplate so it fits the slim door stile. The bolt and key cylinder were tested with the keys before handover.

Back-of-house door hardware in an Upper East Side building: a heavy-duty steel hasp with a laminated padlock on the superintendent’s office door, a commercial lever with a keyed cylinder on a metal service door, and a keyed exit alarm with push paddle on the rooftop access door.

A custom lead-lined X-ray room door at a Midtown Manhattan urgent care clinic was rehung on new heavy-duty commercial continuous hinges. A door this heavy needs hardware that carries the full weight along its whole edge, so it swings smoothly and closes properly every time. Metro Local Locksmith handles specialty commercial doors across NYC. Call (646) 450-6320.
